Lathian Tyler didn’t go out for football at Diamond Bar as a freshman because his parents believed he was too small. Now the 5-foot-7, 165-pound senior is a key player for the 9-0 Brahmas. Despite sitting out the second game because of flu, Tyler is among the rushing leaders in the San Gabriel Valley with 1,148 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also plays defensive back and returns kicks.
