Cathedral 45, Bell-Jeff 0--The Guards (1-9, 1-6) were held to 58 total yards in a lopsided loss to Cathedral (6-4, 5-2) at Burroughs High.
Running back Mike Morgan led Bell-Jeff with 36 yards rushing in 13 carries.
Cathedral rolled up 403 total yards, including 369 rushing.
Sevastion Castellon led the way with 155 yards and two touchdowns in 11 carries. He also caught a 12-yard scoring pass from Danny Hernandez, who completed three of six for 34 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.
Cathedral scored on a two-yard run by Joao Gutieriez in the second quarter and added another score on a 12-yard pass from Danny Hernandez to Castellon.
Bell-Jeff quarterback Miguel Segura, who completed four of 10 passes for 21 yards, was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank after suffering a rib injury in the third quarter.
