DANA POINT : $300,000 Street Work to Begin This Week

Share

Repairs on more than 18 miles of residential streets begin this week, one of the largest pavement repair projects ever undertaken by the city.

The city awarded a $300,000 contract to Roy Allen Slurry Seal Inc. to make asphalt repairs and to apply slurry seal on about 135 roads.

The goal is to improve both the appearance and the condition of the city’s residential streets, as well as to reduce the overall cost of street repairs through preventive maintenance. The project is expected to be completed by Dec. 20.
