FRIENDLY FITTING

There was a small error in Craig Tomashoff’s “Why’d NBC Pick Thursdays?” (Nov. 12). The character who had an “encounter with a randy tailor” on a recent episode of “Friends” was not Joey (Matt LeBlanc). Although it was revealed that Joey had been subjected to some unorthodox fitting techniques since his teens, he was blissfully naive about his tailor’s proclivities. It was Chandler (Matthew Perry) who was “cupped” onscreen by Joey’s old family friend, leading to a hilarious sequence in which the truth of the matter slowly dawned on Joey.

Just wanted to set the record, uh, straight.
