* Re “It’s Always Goal to Go,” Nov. 8: This is the best sports story I’ve read in years, and it wasn’t even on the sports page. Kudos to Luke Zimmerman, Beverly Hills High School, his coaches and his teammates for giving Luke the opportunity to expand himself to be his very best.

* All I can say is, Hooray! Hooray! for Zimmerman. A wonderful 16-year-old. It must have taken a lot of effort on everyone’s part--his parents, family, coach and classmates at Beverly Hills High School. This is the most heart-warming feature I have read.
