THOUSAND OAKS : Reward Posted for Sex Crimes Suspect

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered by Ventura County Crime Stoppers for information leading to the identification and arrest of a man who is suspected of numerous incidents of indecent exposure in Thousand Oaks.

Since June, the man has exposed himself to girls ranging in age from 13 to 18 who were walking to or from school, according to the Thousand Oaks Police Department.

Most of the crimes have occurred between Avenida de los Arboles, Avenida de las Plantas, the Moorpark Freeway and Moorpark Road, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-30s, between 5 feet, 8 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches tall, clean-shaven with brown collar-length hair and wearing a dress shirt and tie.

His car is described as a newer, white, four-door Ford Explorer with tinted windows and California license plates.

Anyone with information about the crime should contact Crime Stoppers at 494-TALK (8255). Callers may remain anonymous and the call is not recorded.
