From Associated Press

For Luc Robitaille, the New York Rangers’ 1-1 tie with New Jersey on Monday night was something to shout about.

Robitaille, acquired Aug. 9 from Pittsburgh, was involved in a shouting match with Ranger Coach Colin Campbell after the game and left Madison Square Garden without discussing it. Reportedly, he was frustrated at his lack of playing time.

The Rangers’ Bruce Driver scored first and the Devils’ Bill Guerin tied the game with 14 seconds left in the first period.

The Mighty Ducks recalled right wing Dwayne Norris and defenseman Oleg Mikulchik from Baltimore of the AHL. Norris, who began the season with the Ice Dogs, had 14 points in seven games for Baltimore after signing a free-agent contract Nov. 3. Mikulchik completed a conditioning assignment. In other news, forward Patrik Carnback strained his back during Monday’s practice and his status is day-to-day.
