THOUSAND OAKS : Mormons to Display 200 Nativity Scenes

More than 200 Nativity scenes from around the world will be on display Dec. 8, 9 and 10 at the Thousand Oaks Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The scenes, ranging from modern works to 18th-Century sets, have been donated by members and friends of the local stake. They will be on view from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Dec. 8, from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Dec. 9, and 4 to 7 p.m. Dec. 10.
The church also will feature a Christmas concert Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. with the Thousand Oaks Stake adult, youth and children’s choirs performing.
The public is invited to the creche exhibit and the concert. Admission is free. For more information, call 653-0208 or 495-8211.
