Gunman Holds Up Oxnard Video Store
An armed robber stole $66 Tuesday afternoon from an Oxnard video store and fled on foot, police said.
No arrests had been made late Tuesday in the 3:15 p.m. robbery at Flicks Laser & Video Store, 838 N. Ventura Blvd., Oxnard Police Officer Erik Mora said.
The robber entered the store, showed a clerk a semiautomatic handgun and demanded money, Mora said.
The clerk handed the money to the robber, who then left the store and headed north, Mora said.
The robber was described as a Latino between 25 and 30 years old, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 130 pounds and wearing a dark baseball cap, turquoise shirt and dark jeans. The investigation is continuing.
