Woman Critically Injured in Crash
A 33-year-old Ojai woman was in critical condition in Ventura County Medical Center Friday night after a two-car collision two miles off California 33 on Matilija Canyon Road, authorities said.
Angela Armstrong was the most seriously injured of three people taken to the hospital Friday afternoon, a California Highway Patrol spokeswoman said. Armstrong was trapped in the wreckage for about 20 minutes before being airlifted to the hospital with hip and leg injuries, a spokesman with the Ventura County Fire Department said.
