HUNTINGTON BEACH : Exhibition Focuses on Disaster Preparedness
An exhibition on how to prepare for disasters will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at Huntington Beach Mall.
Sponsored by the Fire Department’s Community Emergency Response Teams, the Disaster Expo will feature more than two dozen vendors selling supplies such as earthquake and first aid kits, emergency food and water packets with a five-year shelf life, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, securing devices, wrenches, flashlights and other tools.
The free event, which will feature Sparky the Fire Dog to entertain children, will be in the Community Service Room at the mall, 7777 Edinger Ave. Information: (714) 536-5980.
