Are you kidding me? Mike Blowers? Hey, Fred Claire. Do you ever read up on a player’s stats before you trade for one? Does the name Kevin Tapani ring a bell? Did you think he would suddenly reduce his ERA and home runs per game once he came to L.A.?

What has Mike Blowers done? He has one good year nestled in a lineup that includes Griffey, Buhner, Edgar and Tino Martinez while playing half his games in the Kingdome. When is the Dodger organization going to figure out that Fred Claire doesn’t have a clue? Peter, give me a call. I’ll work for the team, not against them.
