PRO FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : NFC : Rubley, Former Ram, Waived by Packers

The Green Bay Packers waived reserve quarterback T.J. Rubley, the former Los Angeles Ram, and signed free agent wide receiver Bucky Brooks. The Packers have three quarterbacks on the active roster, starter Brett Favre and backups Jim McMahon and Doug Pederson, in addition to Mike McCoy on the practice squad and Ty Detmer on injured reserve.

Tampa Bay safety John Lynch was put on injured reserve because of a torn ligament in his left knee and will be out the rest of the season. The Buccaneers signed fullback Fred Lester from the practice squad.
