Robert P. Wahlstrom has been elected mayor, and Alice Jempsa has been elected mayor pro tem by the City Council.
Wahlstrom, 62, a semi-retired businessman who has served on the City Council since 1986, said his goal is to “keep the city running as great as it has in the past.”
Wahlstrom takes the place of Charles E. Sylvia, who will remain as a councilman.
