City Sees Double on Parking Standard

Re: “Tale of Parking Citations and a Double Standard,” Dec. 10.
I agree with Cathy Norton. The city is flat-out lazy. If they happen to be there, then they will give your emotions something to think about with a ticket, but if it’s out of their way, then break the law all you want.
Don’t get me wrong. I think we should try our hardest not to break the laws, but the city should try its hardest to enforce them correctly. The city should just try to follow the Golden Rule. If there’s an abandoned car in front of a policeman’s house, the city is going to treat it like UPS one-day delivery to the dump. A normal citizen might as well decorate it for the holidays.
