Tucker Case Juror
Re “Juror on Tucker Case Describes Inner Turmoil,” Dec. 12:
Wanda Flagg’s comments on the Walter Tucker case give me newfound hope for the jury system. She showed herself to be fair, impartial, thoughtful and most of all human. Who can put all emotions aside when deciding the fate of another human being? The trick is to finally make decisions based on facts and the fact in this case is that the videotape did not lie.
I have mixed feelings to this day about the O.J. Simpson case but I still stand by the jury’s decision. Had some of the Simpson jurors shown some of the same struggle and hard work (during deliberations) that Flagg showed I don’t think there would be as many people questioning that verdict today.
