BUENA PARK : New-Book Donation Is Cost of Lunch Benefit
To increase the number of books available for children with special needs, the Centralia School District will sponsor a luncheon that will charge an admission fee of one book.
“The Special Services Department came up with the idea to support the district’s focus on literacy,” said Linda Matlock, administrator of special services.
The luncheon is set for Jan. 24 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the district office, 6625 La Palma Ave. The district is asking that each attendee bring a new children’s book.
