Woman Dies After Freeway Accident
A woman died Thursday night from injuries received in a single-vehicle accident on the Simi Valley Freeway east of Yosemite Avenue.
The woman, who had not been identified by authorities late Thursday, apparently lost control of her vehicle about 6:40 p.m. while traveling west and was ejected from the car onto the freeway, authorities said. She died at Simi Valley Hospital.
A cluster of vehicles traveling east collided when drivers looked at the westbound accident, and another vehicle traveling west crashed into the center divider near the accident site, the California Highway Patrol reported. No injuries were reported in those accidents.
