Marcus Camby would not let a bruised knee stop him from playing in the championship game of the Rainbow Classic late Saturday night at Honolulu. He would not let Syracuse stop him from winning the game.

The 6-foot-11 center, who was questionable after getting injured 24 hours earlier, didn’t start, but still led top-ranked Massachusetts (10-0) to a 65-47 victory over No. 13 Syracuse (11-1).

In 33 minutes, Camby had 20 points, 11 rebounds and three blocked shots.

No. 21 Virginia Tech 62, Wright State 46--Damon Watlington scored 20 points and Ace Custis had 17 rebounds Sunday in New Orleans to give Coach Bill Foster his 500th victory.
