Transit Commission to Meet in Ventura

The Ventura County Transportation Commission will move its meeting from Camarillo to the City Council chambers in Ventura this morning because its usual meeting place is being renovated.
The meeting is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
During the holiday break, work crews installed a new carpet and are refurbishing the seats inside the Camarillo City Council chambers, where the transportation panel usually meets the first Friday of every month.
But because the improvements are not yet completed, the meeting site has been switched to Ventura City Hall, 501 Poli St.
The renovations in Camarillo should be finished before next week’s regularly scheduled council meeting.
