Pringle to Speak on Work Force’s Future

The future of California’s work force will be Assembly Speaker Curt Pringle’s topic in an address Jan. 26 to the Anaheim Private Industry Council at its sixth annual awards ceremony.
The breakfast event will honor local employers and people who participated in the city’s job training program in the past year.
Formed in 1989, the Private Industry Council comprises representatives from Anaheim’s public, private and nonprofit sectors. The group oversees the city’s job training program with the goal of promoting a diverse and productive work force.
The awards ceremony is at 7:30 a.m. at Anaheim Inn at the Park, 1855 S. Harbor Blvd. Tickets are $15 a person or $140 for a table of 10.
