Magnitude 4.1 Quake Rattles Kern County
Another aftershock in the Ridgecrest earthquake series, registering magnitude 4.1, struck 11 miles north of Ridgecrest in Kern County at 5:06 a.m. Friday, Caltech seismologists reported.
No damage or injuries occurred.
There have been more than 8,000 jolts in the series, the strongest a magnitude 5.8 on Sept. 20.
