Barry Switzer joined Jimmy Johnson, the man he replaced, as one of two head coaches to win both a Super Bowl and an NCAA championship. Switzer won national titles while coaching Oklahoma in 1974, 1975 and 1985. Johnson won his national title at Miami after the 1986 season.

“Where’s the next one? I might want to go there too,” Switzer said. “What city is it in?”

When told it was in New Orleans, he said, “Hey, I’ve been to a lot of Sugar Bowls. Here I’m talking about bowl games again. Let’s not talk about the Orange Bowls. This is bigger than the Orange Bowl. This is the Grapefruit Bowl.”
