San Onofre’s Sirens Will Sound for Drill
The San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station will conduct an unannounced emergency drill next week as part of training exercises for its workers.
Residents in the South County area can expect to hear the sirens between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. The sirens used in this drill are located inside the station at San Onofre. No other sirens, including those reserved for community response, will be used for the drill.
