A Win for ‘Sense’: Director Ang Lee’s “Sense and Sensibility” won top honors Monday at the Berlin Film Festival, beating out the favorite, Tim Robbins’ death row drama “Dead Man Walking,” for the Golden Bear Award. Sean Penn, who plays a doomed convict in “Dead Man Walking,” won a Silver Bear as best actor, while Anouk Grinberg was named best actress for her work in the French film “My Man.” The award for best director was shared by Yim Ho of Hong Kong for “The Sun Has Ears” and Richard Loncraine of Britain for “Richard III.”
