The Miami Heat’s fourth consecutive victory and a rare post All-Star break loss by the New Jersey Nets were overshadowed by a brawl Tuesday night--between Alonzo Mourning and Shawn Bradley.

Mourning and Bradley went arm-to-arm, nose-to-nose and something-to-chin as the Heat defeated the Nets, 93-90, at East Rutherford, N.J., in a game that ended with Bradley shoving Mourning to the floor near half court.

“Things just happened,” said Bradley, who outscored Mourning, 23-11. “There was a lot of bumping and hitting. It’s all part of the game.”
