Comeback Trail

George Michael’s comeback has started with a bang. The English pop star’s “Jesus to a Child,” No. 6 on the national singles sales chart, is No. 1 on The Times’ Southern California chart for the third week in a row. The song is part of the upcoming “Older,” Michael’s first full album of new material since 1990’s “Listen Without Prejudice” and an ensuing legal battle with his former record label. The album is tentatively scheduled to be released next month. Meanwhile, 2Pac’s “All Eyez on Me” tops the local and national album sales charts for the second consecutive week.
