Spotlighting the best student movie makers at Cal State Northridge, four films will be screened at a special event Wednesday in North Hollywood, the university has announced.

Sponsored by CSUN’s radio-television-film department, the evening is scheduled to include four films created in the department’s senior-level production class. Veteran screenwriter Joseph Stefano (“Psycho”) will host.

According to film professor Nate Thomas, the event is designed to show the best work of the university’s amateur filmmakers. Each of the films was written, produced and directed by CSUN students under the direction of faculty members.
