Reggie Miller, hobbled by a sprained ankle, isn’t practicing much these days.

It certainly doesn’t show come game time.

Miller scored 11 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter Sunday at Indianapolis, rallying Indiana past the Charlotte Hornets, 103-100, for the Pacers’ sixth consecutive victory.

There were five lead changes and three ties in the fourth quarter, which ended when Kenny Anderson missed a three-point attempt at the buzzer.

Minnesota 89, Miami 87--Isaiah Rider overcame a disciplinary benching to score 30 points, the last on a tiebreaking jumper with 8.5 seconds to play at Minneapolis.

Rider, who was late for the team shootaround and benched for the start of the game, played 37 minutes and had 15 rebounds.

Toronto 100, Cleveland 89--Tracy Murray scored a career-high 29 points at Cleveland as the Raptors ended a seven-game losing streak.

The Cavaliers placed leading scorer Terrell Brandon on the injured list because of a bruised tail bone and sprained rotator cuff.

Phoenix 121, Dallas 114--Charles Barkley scored 26 points in 27 minutes and rookie Michael Finley added 20 at Dallas.

Barkley was fuming at the officials after the game, calling them “terrible.”

“David Wood can’t guard me if the officials do their job, but they wanted the game to be close for NBC,” Barkley said. “The officials took all my aggression away.”

Still, Barkley was unstoppable in the third quarter, scoring 13 points.

New York 109, Golden State 94--The Knicks avoided matching their longest losing streak in six years, ending their skid at five games at New York.
