Students to Compete in Shakespeare Contest

High school students from the Greater Los Angeles area will vie for first prize in the finals of the English-Speaking Union’s “Seventh Annual Shakespeare Competition” at 6 p.m. Sunday in the Recital Hall of the Ambassador Foundation.
The competition, featuring Shakespeare’s plays and sonnets, is open to the public. The first-place winner will compete in the national finals in New York in April.
