Premiere Radio Earnings Rise for Quarter, Year

Premiere Radio Networks Inc., a Sherman Oaks supplier of syndicated radio programming and services, reported strong earnings growth in its fourth quarter that ended Dec. 31 and for all of 1995.

The company said the results reflected its investments over the past two years in programming and research services, and an expansion of its affiliate networks and sales representation.

Premiere’s fourth-quarter profit was $505,000, a more than threefold increase from the $158,000 it earned a year earlier. Its revenue rose 26%, to $5.74 million from $4.55 million.

Premiere’s net income for all of 1995 increased 29%, to $2.56 million from $1.99 million in earnings a year before. Its annual revenue was $20.8 million, a 29% gain from $18 million in 1994.
