* Here’s a chance to see how Colgate’s 6-foot-10 Adonal Foyle, the No. 2 shot-blocker and No. 3 rebounder in the nation, matches up with a top-notch center, Connecticut’s 7-foot Travis Knight.

* Duke and Eastern Michigan are two perimeter-oriented teams. For the Blue Devils, Chris Collins is back, but Steve Wojciechowski is doubtful (ankle). The Eagles are formidable with a lead late in the game: Earl Boykins and Brian Tolbert combined to make 84% of their free throws.

* Mississippi State looked like a Final Four team in its double-digit defeat of Kentucky in the SEC tournament final, and with center Erick Dampier and shooters Darryl Wilson and Dontae Jones, could shake things up in this region. Virginia Commonwealth, with its methodical style, was 13-1 down the stretch.
