A thief stole a valuable Renoir painting, “The Bathers,” from Belgrade’s National Museum Thursday by cutting it from its frame during a gallery security lapse. A different “Bathers” painting by Renoir hangs in the Philadelphia Museum of Art. . . . Controversial movie director Oliver Stone received his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Friday. Stone’s star is next to that of director Alfred Hitchcock at 7013 Hollywood Blvd. . . . Comedian Soupy Sales celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with 7 and 9 p.m. shows Sunday at the Ice House in Pasadena.
