Obituaries : Roger Doherty; Retired Teacher
Oak View resident Roger M. Doherty died Friday of natural causes. He was 94.
Born in Boston on Feb 19, 1902, Doherty was a retired schoolteacher.
He taught math at Malden High School in Malden, Mass., and was also a salesman for Procter & Gamble. After retiring, Doherty moved to Oak View, where he lived for 14 years.
Doherty is survived by his wife, Marion R. Doherty of Oak View; two daughters, Barbara Richardson of Oak View and Nancy Miller of Swarthmore, Pa., and three grandchildren who all live in Pennsylvania.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on St. Thomas Drive in Ojai.
Arrangements are under the direction of Clausen Funeral Home in Ojai.
