Taylor Woodrow Homes Names Project Chief

* Thomas Redwitz will join Taylor Woodrow Homes California Ltd. in Laguna Hills as a senior project manager today. He succeeds Adrian Foley, who left Taylor Woodrow in January to open a new division for another home builder. Redwitz will be responsible for all projects and development at Taylor Woodrow. He was formerly a vice president of development for the Irvine Co., where he worked from 1984 to 1987 and again since 1990. In between, Redwitz co-founded and helped operate Inland Pacific Communities, a Newport Beach real estate company.

* Linda C. Simpson has been appointed director of sales and marketing at the Anaheim Hilton and Towers. She had been director of sales and marketing at the Los Angeles Airport Hilton and Towers. In addition, Joyce Navarro was named director of convention services for the hotel. She was formerly director of convention services at the Burbank Airport Hilton.

* Cindy Walters, Huntington Beach area community sales manager, has been named a vice president of First Interstate Bank. She joined the bank in 1986 and was a consumer lending officer and personal banking officer with the Santa Monica office, assistant vice president and financial services manager with the Mariners office and assistant vice president and manager of the Huntington Beach office.

* Trindl Swanson has been appointed senior client manager and member of the Johnson & Higgins Technology Group in Costa Mesa. Before joining the insurance broker, Swanson was a vice president at Sedgwick James of California, where she established the technology practice in Southern California.

* Jack Lindquist, former president of Disneyland, has been selected for the Cal State Fullerton University Advisory Board. Lindquist is president and chief executive of a marketing-consulting firm.

* Richard Majestic has been named vice president of Snyder Langston, an Irvine real estate and construction services firm. He joined the company in 1991 as construction manager.

* Scott L. Skinner has joined Haskell & White, a Newport Beach accounting firm, as a partner. He was formerly with Kenneth Leventhal and Co., where he specialized in tax accounting and consulting for the real estate industry. Marilyn Walsh has also joined the firm as a senior manager. She had been with Koll Construction, directing the information services group. Wayne Pinnell was named a principal in the audit and accounting department. He was formerly an audit partner in the Costa Mesa office of BDO Seidman, LLP.

* Norman Shink has been appointed president and chief operating officer of StarTronix USA Inc. in Irvine, a wholly owned subsidiary of StarTronix International Inc. He will be responsible for launching an independent distributor network, developing and implementing network marketing-based training programs and marketing online services for the company’s new Internet screen phone. Shink was formerly executive vice president of Quorum International, a seller of consumer electronics security products and systems.

* Patricia L’Heureux has been named vice president of facilities management for First American Title Insurance Co. in Santa Ana. She will be responsible for the newly established National Facilities Consulting Group, which was formed to provide guidance and assistance to company offices for site location identification, lease negotiation, space planning and tenant improvements. L’Heureux, who joined the company in 1979, had been vice president of claims administration before her new appointment.
