Trojans Add CLU to Schedule as Hedge Against Suspensions

Share

Cal Lutheran will visit USC on Thursday for a baseball game hastily scheduled by the Trojans in an effort to blunt the impact of impending suspensions.

The Pacific 10 Conference is expected to suspend several players for their part in a fight that occurred at the conclusion of a game Sunday between the Trojans and Arizona State.

The Trojans will begin a crucial three-game Pac-10 series against UCLA on Saturday. Should players be able to serve all or part of their suspensions in the game against Cal Lutheran, they could return against UCLA.
