WEEKEND TV : Regional Finals, Music and ’60 Minutes’

The NCAA basketball tournament enters its regional championships this weekend on CBS.

Kentucky takes on Wake Forest at Minneapolis today at 12:30 p.m. in the Midwest Regional final. Then it’s Georgetown vs. Massachusetts at 2:30 p.m in the East Regional final. On Sunday, the West Regional final airs at 11:30 a.m. and the Southeast Regional final follows at 2 p.m. on Channel 2.

PBS’ pledge drive continues with two new musical specials tonight on KCET-TV Channel 28. At 7 p.m., Kathie Lee Gifford, sans Regis Philbin, gets in the swing as host of “Glenn Miller’s Greatest Hits II,” a celebration of the most popular band of the swing era. Following at 8:30 is “Victor Borge: Then & Now III.” The endearing clown prince of Denmark is featured in a live performance and in clips from his early years on TV and in the movies.

On Sunday, “60 Minutes” interviews former Philip Morris scientist Ian Uydess, who gave damaging information about the tobacco industry to the Justice Department. Uydess tells Mike Wallace why he blew the whistle on his former employer, at 7 p.m. on CBS.

Specials and Movies: Robert Wagner and Stefanie Powers return as the glamorous married sleuths Jonathan and Jennifer Hart in the new mystery thriller “Harts in High Season,” Sunday at 7 p.m. on the Family Channel.

Beau Bridges and Pam Dawber star in CBS’ drama “A Stranger to Love,” Sunday at 9 p.m. (2). Bridges plays a married man who loses his memory in a carjacking and falls for another woman.

Two-time Academy Award-winning actress Sally Field talks about her life on and off screen in Lifetime’s “Intimate Portrait,” Sunday at 10 p.m.

Sports Baseball: Exhibition, Dodgers vs. Mets, today, 10 a.m. (5), WWOR; Dodgers vs. Marlins, Sunday, 10 a.m. (5). . . . Pro Basketball: Hornets at Lakers, Sunday, 6:30 p.m. Prime Sports. . . . Hockey: Mighty Ducks at Blackhawks, Sunday, noon Prime Sports.
