Remember, Those Weren’t the Real Bruin Fans

I was at Indianapolis for UCLA on Thursday as I have been at all postseason play since 1980. I am a true Bruin fan. I too was disappointed but it is not the end of the world.

I personally feel coaching this year’s team has been one of Harrick’s best jobs. My message for whining so called Bruin fans is “GET A GRIP.” This team had a successful if not great season as Pac-10 Champions.

Yes, they were inconsistent and no true team leader developed, but with the exception of a few games they were in them all because they played defense and never gave up.

Remember George, Ed and Tyus played in Tulsa the year before they played in Seattle.
