Warren River Expeditions is offering its annual schedule of white-water rafting trips in Idaho’s Salmon River country. Eight trips are for adults over 55 only, while two are for seniors and their grandchildren. Both categories are limited to 12 participants. The first trip of the season is April 11.

Warren River also offers kayaking and steelhead-salmon fishing trips. On tours open to all ages, travelers over 55 get a 10% discount. For example, the six-day rafting trip, which includes a combination of camping and back-country lodge stays, is $1,150 for seniors. Prices quoted are for six days, except for the fishing trip, which is seven. Transportation to Salmon, Idaho, is not included. The nearest airport is in Boise, from which air taxi service may be booked. Packages provide three meals daily, dining utensils, life jackets and waterproof bags for personal items.
