Jack F. Holland; Longtime Official at Security Pacific

Jack F. Holland, 82, who had a 57-year career with Security Pacific Bank. A native of Oklahoma, Holland moved to Los Angeles in his youth. He was student body president at Lincoln High School and class president at the Pacific Coast School of Banking. He also did graduate study at Stanford’s School of Credit and Financial Management. Holland began working for Farmers and Merchants Bank in 1932, continuing with the company after it merged into Security Pacific in 1956. He retired in 1989 as first vice president in the government services division that he had helped to establish. He served on several boards and in advisory positions to government agencies.
