LOOKING TO COUNTY
The city of Hawthorne, which was nearly bankrupt last year, will soon decide whether to transfer the city Fire Department to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. At their April 8 meeting, City Council members will discuss reopening talks with the county, City Clerk Daniel Juarez said.
