Coach Seth Greenberg, who led Long Beach State to its first regular-season conference title in 19 years, is a candidate for the University of South Florida job.

Greenberg, attending the National Assn. of Basketball Coaches conference here, interviewed with South Florida Athletic Director Paul Griffin before Saturday’s Final Four semifinal games at the Meadowlands Arena at East Rutherford, N.J.

“I’m just going to have to see what happens,” Greenberg said. “I have a lot of questions right now.”
