Body in Ravine Identified; Killer Sought
Police on Saturday identified the body of a man found in a ravine near El Cariso Regional Park in Sylmar.
Los Angeles police said Guadalupe Arreola Perez, 70, died from a head injury. The victim’s body was discovered about 11:30 a.m. Friday in the 12900 block of Harding Street, said Sgt. Frank Reynoso of the Foothill Division.
The motive for the killing has not been determined, and Reynoso said police did not know how long the body had been in the ravine. No suspects have been apprehended, police said.
