The 1996 installment of the Warp tour--combining a rock festival with skate and ski exhibitions--is taking shape, with a lineup expected to feature Fishbone, NOFX, Pennywise, 311 and the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. An L.A.-area date is scheduled for July 6 at a site still to be determined. . . .

With the Beach Boys’ “Pet Sounds” session box set due in May, Brian Wilson and lyricist Tony Asher, who collaborated on that landmark album, have been teaming on new material for the first time in 30 years, with an eye on a new album. Wilson’s daughters, Carnie and Wendy, are likely to be involved in the project. . . .

The soundtrack to the sibling rivalry movie “Georgia” will be released in June by Discovery Records. The album features Jennifer Jason Leigh’s harrowing version of Van Morrison’s “Take Me Back” and supporting actress Oscar nominee Mare Winningham’s folkie rendering of Stephen Foster’s “Hard Times.” John Doe and Jimmy Witherspoon, who both had roles in the movie, are also on the album. . . .

Designer Tommy Hilfiger is basing a new line of clothes around Nancy Boy, the New York neo-glam band fronted by Donovan Leitch (son of ‘60s troubadour Donovan) and also featuring Mike Nesmith’s son Jason. The togs--heavy on feathers, velvet and gloss--will debut in Hilfiger’s fall men’s collection.
