Reward Offered in Beeper Shop Theft
A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered by Ventura County Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for burglarizing J&J; Beepers of Thousand Oaks on April 2.
Between 14 and 16 cellular phones and 30 to 40 pagers were stolen by one or more people who entered the business at 2281 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. by smashing a window about 3:30 a.m.
Police have no suspects.
Anyone with information regarding the crime should contact Crime Stoppers at 494-TALK. Callers will remain anonymous and will be assigned an identification number for a possible reward.
