Panorama City : Police to Discuss Community Safety

The commander of the LAPD’s Van Nuys Division will discuss the addition of patrol cars to the division, activities of the Van Nuys Community Police Advisory Board and the latest crime reports for Panorama City at a community meeting Tuesday.

At the event, jointly sponsored by Neighborhood Watch and Kaiser Permanente Panorama City Medical Center, LAPD Capt. Richard Wemmer also will speak about the involvement of other city agencies in making the community safer and answer questions from the community.

LAPD senior lead officers Kevin Scroggins and Randy Hoffmaster will be present to address neighborhood concerns and answer questions about setting up new Neighborhood Watch programs.

At the same meeting, Kaiser administrators will give an update on activities and services at the hospital.
