Ventura County Crime Stoppers has offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the thieves who broke into four cars at Newbury Park High School last month.
Over seven days, thieves stole three compact disc players, one cassette player, one radar detector, a cellular phone and stereo speakers.
The windows of each vehicle were smashed or forced open. The thefts occurred between April 18 and 25.
Police have no leads, but urge anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (805) 494-TALK. To ensure anonymity, a number will be assigned to each caller. Rewards can be collected from designated banks by using only the identification number.
