City OKs Gas Station at Kanan and Agoura
The Agoura Hills City Council has approved construction of a USA Gasoline service station and convenience store at the northeast corner of Kanan and Agoura roads.
USA Gasoline Corp. says it hopes the station and 2,825-square-foot store will be completed early next year.
Meanwhile, an environmental study is being completed on a proposed eight-screen movie theater on the southwest corner of the intersection. The establishment, which would be operated by Mann Theatres, would be part of Agoura Hills developer Vance Moran’s proposed 87,000-square-foot Creekside Terrace, a commercial center with five restaurants and six retail shops. City officials expect the project to go before the Planning Commission this summer.
Moran’s project would be a key component in the city’s tentative plans to create an entertainment corridor that would run east from the intersection along Agoura Road to a movie theater and restaurant complex down the street.
