3 Suspects Held in O.C. Home Invasion
Three men were in custody late Wednesday after they barged into a Buena Park home apparently intending to commit a home-invasion robbery, police said.
No injuries to the residents were reported.
Reports indicated up to 15 people were in the home in the 7000 block of San Lorenzo Drive when the three men armed with handguns entered about 8:30 p.m., Buena Park Police Lt. Bob Chaney said.
A man was able to flee and call police, Chaney said.
Meanwhile, one suspect tried to drive away from the house and was stopped by officers and taken into custody.
Officers sealed off the home and the police special weapons team was called out.
When residents walked out of the house about 11 p.m., the other two suspects were arrested.
The identities of the suspects weren’t immediately available.
