Hillary Clinton Consults Houston

Share

What amazes me most about the Hillary Rodham Clinton-Eleanor Roosevelt non-story (June 23-25) is that a writer supposedly as sophisticated as Bob Woodward did not recognize Jean Houston’s work with Mrs. Clinton as one of many similar techniques used by creative people to generate ideas.

Do you think it’s possible he did know better, but decided to twist it into something nasty to promote the sale of his book?

* So, let me get this straight. Hillary Clinton consorts with her New Age guru to carry on conversations with Eleanor Roosevelt and Mahatma Gandhi in the White House solarium. But she draws “the line when asked to talk to Jesus Christ.” Hmmm. I talk with Jesus Christ daily. It’s a piece o’ cake! It’s called prayer.

* I am not surprised at Hillary Clinton’s psychic discussions with Eleanor Roosevelt. After all, I’m sure the two discussed marital infidelity. But I am confused as to what she discussed with Gandhi. I wonder if the conversation ever drifted around to prison time, since Gandhi would have some advice on that as well.

* So Hillary Clinton’s imaginary conversation with Eleanor Roosevelt was not a spiritual ritual conducted by a psychic, but rather an “intellectual exercise” to help her deal with the difficulties she faces in the White House.

I wonder if she realizes this can be accomplished by reading a book. She was caught doing something weird and that is the real fact of the matter.

* Re Mrs. Clinton’s imaginary conversation with Eleanor Roosevelt: Personally I don’t care who she talks with--just so she talks with somebody about the economy.
